ONLINE and BLENDED LEARNING CERTIFICATION COURSES

Heartsaver First Aid Online, an online learning program, provides an alternative to classroom first aid training in two parts. Part 1 focuses on a series of online modules that cover all of the required sequences for the AHA First Aid course. Part 2 is hands-on skills practice. Participants who complete Part 1 can receive a certificate that is a prerequisite for taking a supervised skills practice with a CASTT instructor. Successful completion of both parts of this program and the supervised skills practice will earn a 2 year certification card.

Heartsaver First Aid Online + CPR Blended Class is an alternative combining 2 courses. Part 1 delivers the cognitive learning for First Aid online. Alter completing Part 1 and printing the Online Certification of Completion, students meet with a CASTT instructor for about 3½ hrs in class for CPR instruction and Part 2 First Aid skills practice – a $5 & 3 hr savings rather than taking the 2 classes separately.

Heartsaver CPR AED Online offers a flexible, time saving option for busy people. Part 1 delivers the cognitive learning online. After completing Part 1, students meet with a CASTT instructor to do the Part 2 practice and Part 3 skills test. Successful completion earns a 2 year certification card.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is a web-based e-learning product. The Heartsaver First Aid w/CPR & AED Online Part 1 provides the cognitive portion of the course, and includes a series of modules that cover all required sequences for an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED course. Participants also need to complete questions. Once Part 1 is successfully accomplished, a certificate is received allowing them to take Part 2 and Part 3 with a CASTT instructor. Part 2 is the hands on skills practice and Part 3 is a test session with the instructor. When both parts are finished, a 2 year certification card is issued to the student.
